This easy garlic butter recipe proves that sometimes the basics are the best! Butter, garlic, a few herbs and spices, and a little Parmesan cheese are all you need to make this decadent garlic butter. I've used this simple recipe for years to make garlic bread. It also tastes great on steak, hot pasta, rice, or potatoes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic or more to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or more to taste
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper or more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground paprika or more to taste

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Combine softened butter, Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic in a bowl until well combined.
  • Mix in garlic salt, Italian seasoning, pepper, and paprika until smooth and well combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings.

Notes

You can use any butter you like. Also, fresh or minced garlic in a jar works well. Adjust the amount of garlic to your taste.
Freeze this garlic butter in portions for easy use when you need it.
