- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 7 fluid ounces milk
- ⅓ cup chocolate chips
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- nonstick cooking spray
Beat egg in a large bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add flour, milk, chocolate chips, oil, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt; beat just until smooth.
Coat a Belgian waffle iron with cooking spray; preheat according to manufacturer's instructions.
Pour about ¾ cup batter onto hot waffle iron; cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve hot.
