Cheese and Bacon Potato Rounds

Cook sliced potatoes in the oven with cheese, and bacon — a great combination! Top with sour cream if desired.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium baking potatoes cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 8 ounce package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon - cooked and crumbled
  • ½ cup chopped green onions

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Brush potato slices on both sides with butter; place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned and tender when pierced with a knife, 30 to 40 minutes, flipping slices halfway through. Sprinkle with Cheddar, crumbled bacon, and green onions. Continue baking until cheese melts, 3 to 5 more minutes.
