Cook sliced potatoes in the oven with cheese, and bacon — a great combination! Top with sour cream if desired.
Ingredients
- 4 medium baking potatoes cut into 1/2 inch slices
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 8 ounce package shredded Cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon – cooked and crumbled
- ½ cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brush potato slices on both sides with butter; place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned and tender when pierced with a knife, 30 to 40 minutes, flipping slices halfway through. Sprinkle with Cheddar, crumbled bacon, and green onions. Continue baking until cheese melts, 3 to 5 more minutes.
