Ingredients
- 2 2/3 cups French’s French Fried Onions divided
- 8 cups cooked cut green beans
- 2 10.5 ounce cans Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Stir 1 1/3 fried onions, green beans, soup, milk, soy sauce, and pepper together in a 3-quart casserole dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until hot, about 25 minutes.
- Stir casserole; top with remaining 1 1/3 cups fried onions. Bake 5 minutes more.
Notes
• For a festive touch, stir in 1/2 cup of chopped red peppers with the soup.
• For a cheesier version, omit the soy sauce and stir in 1/2 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese with the soup. Sprinkle additional cheese on top before the last bake.
• Add 4 slices cooked, crumbled bacon before the final onion topping for added crunch.
