Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons beef stock base
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper plus more for garnish
- 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced deli roast beef
- 1 1/2 cups cooked fine egg noodles
- 1/3 cup finely chopped sweet onion
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
- 2 cups finely shredded cabbage
Instructions

- Layer evenly with roast beef, egg noodles, sweet onion, carrot, and cabbage. Chill, covered, up to 5 days. To serve, see “Heat and Eat”. Garnish with crushed red pepper.
Notes
Heat and Eat
Let jar stand at room temperature 10 minutes or run under warm water 1 minute. Add water (about 1 cup) to ingredients in jar until nearly full. Microwave (without lid) 3 minutes. Carefully screw on lid (jar will be very hot); let stand 5 minutes. Invert jar to combine ingredients. Eat out of jar or transfer to a bowl to serve.
